More than just a place to store your boat.
The BoatHouse at Front Street Village offers boaters a variety of amenities, a complete ship's store, and private meeting areas, along with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly boat storage facilities and services.
The BoatHouse is, in reality, part boat storage facility, part yacht club. Atop the ship's store, The Chandlery, is The Lookout Deck, an open, airy space that combines an indoor entertainment area, an enclosed balcony, and open balcony. It offers panoramic views of the Beaufort waterfront, and can be used by members or booked by the general public for special events.
Beyond its quaint 19th Century exterior facade, The BoatHouse is a wonder of modern technology. Striving to meet NC Green Marina standards, environmental protection and energy conservation were at the forefront of its creation. Responsible land stewardship and blending in naturally with its historic surroundings were key.
Spend more time on the water.
As a BoatHouse “mate”, you can enjoy the luxury of our complimentary conceirge service. With a simple phone call we will have your boat floated and ready for you to step aboard. We’ll even fill your cooler with ice at no charge and have it packed with your drinks, snacks, bait and supplies from The Chandlery, our ship’s store. Our complimentary shuttle service can assist you with unloading all of your belongings from the private “members” parking lot.
For those lucky enough to catch that keeper, we have our fish cleaning station available to clean and filet your catch. After a great day on the water, your boat will receive a complimentary trash out, wash down (inside and out) and fresh water engine flush. With our state-of-the-art fire suppression system, you can rest assured, knowing that your boat is protected.
With a quick stop to our fuel dock, you’ll be on your way to catching “the big one” in no time.

We have stayed at the Boathouse twice and have been very impressed by the staff and facility. The floating docks are new and the shop and restaurant are excellent. We were greeted by multiple staff members who were proficient in getting the boat secured and very willing to help in any way. It is a lovely pristine location which continues to improve and well worth the short trip down Taylor Creek.

DOCKHANDS ARE GREAT

Anchored off here for a few days while doing some repairs. The dockhands are great and very helpful. The public boat ramp next door is busy 24/7 and a fine place to tie up and take the bus into town. The ships store which some have raved about is really a little convenience store at this point which has great coffee and a good selection of wine and beer. It is all sparkly new.

GREAT FUEL STOP
Date: 11-04-2012
Captain: Jim and Liz, Richardson, TX (160)
We came for the inexpensive fuel, well worth the run up Taylor Creek. Dock hands were helpful and friendly, fabulous ship's store as per the other reviews. It was late so we ended up spending the night at the fuel dock for a reasonable fee since we didn't need power but I don't think they accept a lot of transient traffic. We'll be back.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Captain: Sea Estate+, Caseville, MI (341)
We took the short trek up Taylor Creek to take on fuel today, good water all the way. This is a beautiful new facility, no transient docks yet, but plan on having in the future. Fuel prices best in the area and the ships store is out of this world. Everyone went out of their way to assist us, we'll be back.

HIDDEN SECRET

Captain: Marc Colby+, Austin, Texas (927)
This is not a marina yet, but they are working on it. We took the 20 minute trip up Taylor Creek from Beaufort to buy diesel fuel. This facility is hungry for business and their price of fuel is excellent. The service was excellent. They really go out of the way to welcome you and assist you with refueling. Add to this a well stocked ship's store with the best prices on wine in Beaufort. This is well worth the time it takes to get there.
